"The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife."  That would be the best way I could describe the opening frames of the Premier League Snooker final. This was the case during the first 4 frames as both players were visibly nervous. Tied at 2-2, Jason Vassallo's experience took over and when the dust settled the final score was an inevitable 7-2 win for Jason. There is no doubt of Shaun's potential and he did show flashes of brilliance during the 9 frames. The experience of his first final will pay dividends in the future but tonight was Jason's night now making it 6 championships. Congratulations to Jason Vassallo, a true champion.
