On one of those rare nights where the Champion had an off night, the challenger Simon Vella almost pulled off the upset of the season pushing Jason to the full 11 frames. During the final 6 frames Jason was all over the place struggling to stay in the game while Simon was much more consistent. With the game and the entire season hanging by a thread Jason with his usual nerves of steel settled down and won the last frame with ease.  We now wait for the mouth watering final between Jason and Shaun.
