Shaun Sultana won his first major Premier Division trophy by beating Jason Vassallo 7-6. Shaun was leading 3 frames to 1, when Jason in typical fashion, came back to tie the match 3-3. Shaun showed his game is maturing, held his nerve and when Jason missed the yellow, Shaun took advantage and closed the match. 

The final of the Gozo Snooker 2012 Cup Premier Division will start at 4:30pm today. Shaun will be trying to pry the trophy away from Jason the current holder in a best 7 out of 13 classic match. There will be a reception after to which all members and players are invited. Thank You.

Jason Portelli won his second Gozo cup in 3 years beating Christian Spiteri 6-3. It was Christian's first final appearance in the 1st Division.

Saviour Vella made a tremendous recovery to come back from 0-3 down to beat George Gauci 4-3 and win his very first Gozo cup.

Shaun Attard beat Peter Bonello 4-2 to win the Plate Final

Sam Sultana beat Charlie "Elvis" Camilleri to take the 3rd place trophy in the 2nd division today.

Shaun Sultana continued his impressive form to beat Peter Pace the current champion  3-1 in the second leg and now will face Jason Vassallo next Friday in the final.

Jason Vassallo will be defending his title in 2 weeks by beating Kevin Cassar in the semi final. Kevin made a valiant effort tying the second leg 2-2. We now wait to see who the winner will be between Shaun and Peter.

 Jason Portelli will be meeting Christian Spiteri after beating Daniel Bowker 6-3 after two legs.

We would all like to congratulate Christian Spiteri on making it into his first 1st division final beating James Sultana 3-0 in the second leg. Tomorrow we can look forward to the 2nd leg of the other semi final between Jason Portelli and Daniel Bowker.

Jason Vassallo won the first leg of the semi final tonight 5-1 but the score is very deceiving as it could have easily ended 3-3. Kevin made a game out of almost every frame and it took everything Jason had and then some to establish this lead going into the 2nd leg. In the second frame Jason had the high break of 51.  

George Gauci will meet Savior Vella in the 2nd division final. Jason Portelli is leading Daniel Bowker 4-1 and Christian Spiteri is leading James Sultana 3-2 in the 1st division semi finals. Jason Portelli beat his own high break by one point.

The Gozo Snooker Cup 2011 is coming down to the last few matches, every one of which will keep the fans on the edge of their seats with some great match ups. The semi final fixtures have all been posted and the finals will be as follows: Saturday 21st January 3rd and 4th place Second Division.
